Final Project Meeting Update

Last week, between the 16th and the 18th of June, Arad Prison and Romanian Classical Psychodrama Association hosted the final “Psychodrama and Creative Education in Prison” project meeting.

On the first day, at the conference, all seven international partners shared to local media and guests, their international experience from the project and the project results: The Good Practice Guide and the Educational Film. The project website has also been one of the main attractions for the participants.

The next two days of the meeting included visits to Arad and Timisoara Prisons, group closure psychodrama sessions and visiting several cultural sites. One of the most impressive site was the Romanian 1989 Revolution Museum in Timisoara:

The project, “Psychodrama and Creative Education in Prison”, European ID: 2013-1-RO1-GRU06-29488 1, has been developed with the financial support of the European Commission – Life Long Learning Program, and has brought together five correctional institutions and organisations which work in European prison systems: Arad Penitentiary (Romania), Consorzio Tartaruga Società Cooperativa Sociale (Italy), Service pénitentiaire d’insertion et de probation du Val d’Oise (France), Panevėžio apygardos probacijos tarnyba (Lithuania), HMP Grendon Underwood.
